I am a native of Long Island, NY. I graduated from Jericho High School and later received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from SUNY Purchase and a Master of Music from SUNY Stony Brook while attending Manhattan School of Music through the Blumenthal Award. It is the Santa Fe Opera that brought me from NYC to New Mexico to play violin in the orchestra. Eventually I moved to Santa Fe and married John Hawkins. Together we raised our 23 yr old daughter and lots of ostriches!
